So this is what you get when you acquire an FX armor kit.
As you can see, the kit consists of:
- Dozens of pieces of plastic(usually ABS) armor, assembly required
- Helmet decals
- Velcro
- A leather holster
- ABS glue
- ABS Polish
- Elastic
- An instruction manual
- and more!
Remember that these were vacuformed off of a fan-sculpted suit,
so it's not 100% authentic. The biggest difference is that the
helmet is about 10% too big. Luckily this won't be a problem if
you start loading the bucket up with gizmos! |

Obligatory armor shot.
So my FX kit finally arrived, and I've never been so nervous about
starting a project before!
Everything in the pic (click for larger view) came in the kit
except for the blaster, which I got off of
Ebay.
There are also pieces not shown in the pics like: the decals, ABS
glue, polish, helmet liner, elastic, velcro, etc. |
